Now that classes and exams are over and I’m officially on “summer break”, I have some free time to catch up on all of those things that got put off during the business of the semester (reading, playing guitar, swimming, blogging). My first day of break and I’ve managed to do all of the above so far.
Although it’s hard to go through the past 2 months and try to mention everything, I’ll just take it a little at a time.
A few of us from church went to Chateau de Vincennes in March after an American brunch with eggs and lots of pain au chocolat … okay, so maybe it wasn’t as American as it could’ve been, but they don’t have bacon in France. The following pictures are from Chateau de Vincennes which is just outside Paris’ peripherique (the boulevard that encircles the city) on the East. Not as fancy as the Louvre or Versailles, but it’s still beautiful – plus, it was nice to get out of the city (even if it was only 1km).

Seriously, I echo my last comment I left on your last post. I am living vicariously through you because oh. my. how I would love to be abroad and living an adventurous life like you are! I'm so proud of you!
ReplyDeleteI have a dream that someday we will actually have a reunion with you, me, Katie, and Maleah. Really. I think maybe we can make it happen... and perhaps it could be at your place? Haha. Just kidding. But really - I'd love nothing more than a weekend with you three.
Sending Paris all my love!
